Scott Fischman (* 1980 in Langhorne , Pennsylvania ) is a professional American poker player .

Poker career

Career

Fischman grew up in southern New Jersey and moved to Las Vegas when he was twelve. He learned poker from a school friend and at the age of 18 became a poker croupier in the casinos of the Sahara and Mirage in Las Vegas .

At the 2004 World Series of Poker , Fischman became the youngest player to ever win two bracelets at the WSOP . At the age of 23 he won tournaments in the variants No Limit Texas Hold'em and HORSE The record he gave in 2006 to Jeff Madsen . Fischman was known as a member of the card-playing new crew . Dutch Boyd , Bobby Boyd, David Smyth, Joe Bartholdi Jr. , Tony Lazar and Brett Jungblut played in The Crew , with Jungblut and Bartholdi leaving the group prematurely. In 2004, Fischman defeated Joe Cassidy to win the Young Guns of Poker invitation tournament on the World Poker Tour . In 2005 he was close to winning his third bracelet. He lost heads-up to Allen Cunningham in a tournament in No Limit Hold'em .
