Jeff Madsen (born June 7, 1985 in Santa Monica , California ) is a professional American poker player . He is four-time bracelet winner of the World Series of Poker and was until 2007 the youngest bracelet winner .
Personal
Madsen grew up in Los Angeles and studied film theory at the University of California at Santa Barbara .
Poker career
Career
Madsen began studying poker at university and played at Indian casinos in Santa Ynez before his WSOP triumph .
In the 2006 World Series of Poker in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas , he won at the age of 21 years and five weeks, his first bracelet in a tournament of the variant No-Limit Hold'em and thus was six weeks younger than the previous Record holder. Just six days later, he secured his second bracelet and a prize of more than $ 640,000 . With further top 3 results in a Seven Card Stud tournament and an Omaha Hold'em tournament, he secured the WSOP Player of the Year award . Full Tilt Poker immediately accepted Madsen into the Full Tilt Pros after the WSOP .
In total, Madsen has earned more than $ 5.5 million from poker in live tournaments.
