Sebastián Gallegos , full name Sebastián Agustín Gallegos Berriel , (born January 18, 1992 in Treinta y Tres ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

The 1.70-meter-tall offensive player Gallegos was at least in the Clausura 2009 in the squad of the Uruguayan first division club Danubio at the beginning of his career . However, he was not used there in the highest Uruguayan league. Since the 2009/10 season he was under contract with Atlético Madrid . In the Primera División he did not come to the train there but was used four times (one goal) at Atlético Madrid B in the Segunda División and six times in the following season. He then spent the 2011/12 season on loan with FC Badalona . Eight completed games in the Segunda División are there for him to book. In August 2012 he returned to Uruguay and played from then on for Club Atlético Peñarol , with whom he signed a two-year contract. In total, he completed 13 games (two goals) in the Primera División and two games in the Copa Libertadores in the 2012/13 season and was Uruguayan champion with the Aurinegros . In September 2013, Gallegos, advised by Daniel Fonseca , joined the Italian club Como Calcio, which played in the Lega Pro Prima Divisione . For Como, he played ten league games (two goals). On September 3, 2014 Gallegos moved to the Romanian League 1 to Petrolul Ploieşti . He made his debut for Petrolul on September 21 in the 3-2 home defeat by Steaua Bucharest . At the Romanian club he was used twice (no goal) in the league and once (no goal) in the Cupa României . At the beginning of 2016 he joined the Peruvian club Real Garcilaso , for which he played 33 first division games and scored six goals. He was also used four times (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana 2016 . At the beginning of January 2017, the Chilean club CD Cobresal signed him , for whom he has played twice (no goal) in the league so far (as of March 4, 2017).

National team

Gallegos was a member of the Uruguayan U-15 team coached by Fabián Coito , which took part in the U-15 South American Championship in Brazil in 2007 and finished second behind the host country. He was part of the squad of the Uruguayan U-17s at the U-17 South American Championship 2009 in Chile and at the U-17 World Cup in 2009 in Nigeria . In the World Cup tournament he was used five times and scored five goals and was tied with the players Borja Bastón , Sani Emmanuel and Haris Seferović top scorer. He also participated with the Uruguayan U-20 selection at the 2011 U-20 South American Championship in Peru . During the tournament he was used four times (no goal).

Awards

As part of the honors of the best Uruguayan athletes of the period 2009-2010 ("Deportista del Año"), he was honored on March 28, 2011 by the Comité Olímpico Uruguayo in the Teatro Solís as the best junior athlete of 2009 in the "Football" category .
