Sebastian Pobot (born October 6, 1973 in Allenstein ) is a German entrepreneur , publisher , composer and producer of music, soundtracks, radio plays and audio books.

Life

Pobot grew up in Munich. At the Pestalozzi-Gymnasium ( Musisches Gymnasium ) he made his Abitur in 1993 in music (piano). Before that he had completed his church music training in 1991 with the organist D examination . From 1993 to 1995 he studied sound engineering at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz , Austria, as well as an internship at the Warner / Chappell music publisher in Munich.

In 1994 Sebastian Pobot founded his music production company and "Pobot Musikverlag". Since then he has been a freelance music producer, composer and publisher. In 2007 the music and radio play label Highscore Music followed , in 2012 the “von Bezold Verlag” for books and e-books. In 2015 Pobot bought the traditional radio play publisher Maritim and merged its catalog with it, creating a radio play catalog with a five-digit title number. Pobots Beteiligungsgesellschaft has been a partner in the Staatsakt music label since 2017 . Since 2019, Pobot has also been a partner in Oliver Döring's Imaga label alongside Alex Stelkens .

Sebastian Pobot worked as a producer, songwriter and lyricist with the major record companies. His musical works (pop songs) are z. In addition, new productions are created. He licensed and staged audio books based on original novels by Captain Future with the speakers and the soundtrack from the 1980s anime series. In addition to the music of Christian Bruhn , Pobot also composed and produced his own works for it.

Another series that is produced by him is Revelation 23 with conspiracy theories, which the author Jan Gaspard takes as the basis for the audio implementation. Pobot took over the series from episode 42 and hired Jens Riewa and Xavier Naidoo as speakers. The soundtrack has also been from Sebastian Pobot since then.

Pobot also produces radio plays for the well-known brands Batman and Star Trek .
