The Seenradweg is a 44 km long long- distance cycle path in the districts of Marburg-Biedenkopf and Lahn-Dill in the state of Hesse . It begins in Wallau in the Oberlahntal and leads past the Perfstausee through Perf- and Gansbachtal over the elevation of Angelburg , with 609 m the highest point of the route. Past the Wilhelmsteinen , the further course of the route follows the Siegbach to Niederweidbach am Aartalsee . The long-distance cycle path is part of a 160-kilometer network of cycle paths in the Lahn-Dill-Bergland Nature Park .

Information and guidance

The lake cycle path has an infrastructure with direction signs, information boards, rest areas and bicycle parking spaces. Signposts make orientation easier at junctions and intersections. Tables and arrow signs contain destination information in text and pictogram form , information on the nature of the route to the indicated destination and distance information. In addition, intermediate signposts with directions and bicycle pictograms are used.

Information boards in the villages along the lake cycle path offer detailed information about the neighboring places, current maps and practical tips. Object boards draw attention to special points on the right and left of the path. This includes explanations on orchards , the Wilhelmsteins, Perfstausee and Aartalsee, as well as old bakeries and the Hauberg economy .
