Sejad Halilović (born March 16, 1969 in Klokotnica , Doboj Istok ) is a former Bosnian football player . The midfielder is the father of Alen Halilović and Dino Halilović .
Career
society
Halilović began his professional career in 1990 at Cibalia Vinkovci . After two seasons in which he scored four times in 46 competitive games, he moved to Dinamo Zagreb in 1992 , where he was under contract until 1995. In the 1993/94 season he won the double with the team, becoming Croatian champions and cup winners. After a season at Real Valladolid , he moved to Israel in 1996 to Hapoel Be'er Scheva for whom he met three times in 23 games and won the Israeli Football Cup in the 1996/97 season. In 1997 he moved to Kardemir Karabükspor in Turkey . After two years he moved to league rivals Altay İzmir . In 2000 he went back to the Balkans and signed with NK Osijek for one season before moving back to Israel in 2001. There he played one season for Hapoel Ironi Rischon LeZion . In 2002 he signed with HNK Rijeka but was awarded to ND Mura 05 after half the season . He finished his career with one season at FC Ljubljana , for which he played 22 games.
National team
On August 17, 1994 Halilović made his international debut for the Croatian national team , which the team won 0-4 against Israel. On October 8, 1996 he was used for the first time in the Bosnian national team , for which he played 15 games by the end of his career.
Trainer
From 2008 to 2014 Halilović worked at Dinamo Zagreb as a youth and junior coach . He left his post after his son Alen Halilović, who he trained , moved to FC Barcelona .
