Semjon Andrejewitsch Waluiski ( Russian Семён Андреевич Валуйский ; born February 10, 1991 in Tolyatti , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Donbass Donetsk since July 2020 .
Career
Semjon Waluiski began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown with HK Lada Tolyatti , for whose second team he was initially active in the third-rate Pervaya League from 2006 , before making his debut in the professional team of HK Lada in the new for the 2008/09 season founded Continental Hockey League existed. In his rookie year he scored one goal and one assist in 20 games in the KHL and continued to play for Lada's second team in the Pervaya League. In the following season , the winger earned a regular place in Lada's KHL team, but occasionally strengthened their junior team in the multinational youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga .
After the HK Lada Tolyatti had to relegate to the Wysschaja Hockey League for financial reasons , Waluiski left his home club and moved to the KHL club Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod for the 2010/11 season . For Torpedo he completed 120 KHL games in the following three years and was used at the same time with the farm team HK Sarow in the second division. In May 2013, the management of Torpedo exchanged him for the KHL rights to Daniil Sharkov , who held Metallurg Novokuznetsk .
After the 2013/14 season, his contract ran out and Semjon Waluiski returned to his home club, which returned to the KHL for the 2014/15 season. In 2018 Lada was excluded from the KHL and Waluiski decided to continue his career with Admiral Vladivostok . He was only active there for a short time and switched back to Lada in October 2018. A month later he went to HK Ugra Khanty-Mansiysk . After Waluiski had spent the 2019/20 season at Humo Tashkent , he joined the HK Donbass Donetsk in July 2020 .
International
For Russia , Waluiski took part in the 2011 U20 World Youth Championship , where he won the gold medal with his team. In seven games he was able to contribute to the title win with two assists.
