Senate of Beust I

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Senate of Beust I is the Senate of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg , which formed the state government in Hamburg from October 31, 2001 to March 17, 2004 . It was the first term of office of the First Mayor Ole von Beust. As a result of the Hamburg state elections in 2001 , a government was formed in a coalition of the CDU, the Rule of Law Party and the FDP. After disputes and the dismissal of Ronald Schill from the Senate, the coalition, which lost its majority due to the MPs of the Schill party who left the PRO parliamentary group , was terminated in 2003 and new elections were scheduled early.
