Peter Rehaag

Peter Rehaag (born June 20, 1959 in Düsseldorf ) is a German lawyer and politician ( Party of Rule of Law Offensive ). From 2001 to 2004 he was Senator for Environment and Health of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg .

After graduating from high school in Berchtesgaden in 1980 , Rehaag completed a law degree at the University of Hamburg . In 1988 he passed the state examination. In 1991 he was admitted to the bar in Hamburg. He works (as of 2017) as a lawyer in a Hamburg law firm, which he co-founded in 1994.

Called first in the party for a rule of law offensive, shortly Schill party, active, he was in the state election in 2001 in the Hamburg Parliament elected. After the Schill party with the CDU and FDP a coalition had entered, he entered the as Senator for Environment and Health Senate of Ole von Beust one. During this time, his citizenship mandate was suspended under Article 39 of the Hamburg Constitution. After PRO's defeat in the early general election in early 2004 , he left the Schill party and joined the CDU.
