Senda B Nueva Canaan (also just: Nueva Canaan ) is a town in the Cochabamba department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Nueva Canaan is the third largest town in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Chimoré in the province of Carrasco . The street village Nueva Canaan is located at an altitude of 231 m between the lower reaches of the Río Coni , a right tributary of the Río Chapare , and the Río Chimoré in the east.

Nueva Canaan is located in the Bolivian lowlands on the northeastern edge of the Andes mountain range of the Cordillera Oriental .
The mean average temperature of the region is 27 ° C (see climate diagram Villa Tunari) and fluctuates only slightly between 23 ° C in June and July and almost 29 ° C from November to February. The climate is humid all year round , the annual precipitation is about 2,300 mm. The maximum precipitation is in the summer months of December and January with over 300 mm, less humid are the winter months from June to September with 60 to 100 mm of precipitation.
Transport network
Southwest of Nueva Canaan at a distance of 198 kilometers by road is Cochabamba , the capital of the department.
The 1,657-kilometer Ruta 4 highway , which begins in the far west of the Chilean border at Tambo Quemado and leads across the Altiplano and via Cochabamba to Villa Tunari at the foot of the Cordillera. From Villa Tunari it is thirty kilometers to Chimoré , the Ruta 4 then continues to the lowland metropolis of Santa Cruz and finally ends in the southeastern part of the country on the border with Brazil at the city of Puerto Quijarro .
At the eastern exit of Chimoré, before the bridge over the Río Chimoré, a side street branches off in a northerly direction from Ruta 4, which reaches Nueva Canaan after four kilometers.

Due to the historical population distribution, the region has a high proportion of Quechua population, in the municipality of Chimoré 70.4 percent of the population speak the Quechua language.
