Sepp Jakob

Josef "Sepp" Jakob (* 1925 in Ottobeuren ; † March 22, 1993 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a German sculptor .

Life

Sepp Jakob did an apprenticeship as a stonemason , then an apprenticeship as a stone sculptor in Memmingen and Munich . From 1949 to 1951 he attended the master school in Freiburg. From 1954 to 1984 he worked as a foreman in charge of the Münsterbauhütte of the Freiburg Minster , and since 1960 as a freelance sculptor.

His son Wolfgang Jakob works as a sculptor in Gundelfingen .
