Serafín María Armora y González (born October 6, 1876 in Olinalá , Guerrero , Mexico , † October 15, 1955 in Tampico , Tamaulipas ) was Bishop of Ciudad Victoria-Tamaulipas .

Life

Serafín María Armora y González received after studying Catholic theology and philosophy on December 21, 1899 the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Veracruz-Jalapa .

On August 3, 1923, Pope Pius XI appointed him . as Bishop of Ciudad Victoria-Tamaulipas. The Bishop of Veracruz-Jalapa, Raphael Guizar Valencia , donated to him on 30 November of the same year in the Catedral de la Inmaculada Concepcion in Tampico , Tamaulipas , the episcopal ordination ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Papantla , Nicolás Corona y Corona , and the Auxiliary Bishop in Mexico City , Maximino Ruiz y Flores . The inauguration took place on January 6, 1924.
