Serge Rousseau

Serge Jean Léon Rousseau (born March 13, 1930 in Aube , Orne , France ; † November 3, 2007 in Saint-Cloud , France) was a French actor.

Life

Serge Rousseau made his debut in 1959 alongside Jean Gabin in Maigret knows no mercy . This was followed by roles in François Leterrier's Les Mauvais coups with Simone Signoret , Costa-Gavras ' murder included in the fare , Is Paris on fire? and we won't go into the forest anymore . François Truffaut gave him two key roles in the late 1960s: in The Bride Wore Black , he played Jeanne Moreau's groom, who is being avenged, and in Stolen Kisses he pursued Claude Jade , at the end proposes to her and leaves without waiting for an answer.

Serge Rousseau was married to the actress Marie Dubois . He died of cancer in 2007 at the age of 77.
