Marie Dubois , actually Claudine Huzé (born January 12, 1937 in Paris , † October 15, 2014 with Pau ), was a French actress .

Life

Marie Dubois became known as the waitress Léna in François Truffaut's Shoot at the Pianist (1960). A year later, Truffaut cast her for the supporting role of Thérèse in Jules and Jim . She was the heroine of Georges Lautner's black comedy Le monocle noir , Pierre Badel gave her the title role in Marie Curie - Une certaine jeune fille in 1964 , and Luchino Visconti gave her a role in The Innocence in 1976 . Dubois was committed to auteur cinema and worked with Jacques Doniol-Valcroze and Alain Tanner . At the side of Yves Montand she played in 1977 in Lohn der Gianten . Her later successes included Vincent, François, Paul and the others , Alain Resnais ' My Uncle from America and Claude Chabrol's Life is a Game .

Marie Dubois was married to the actor Serge Rousseau . The long-suffering from multiple sclerosis campaigned for a better understanding of the disease in public.
