action

Mahiru Shirota is a common high school student who likes to do things the easy way. One day he finds a black cat on the way home, calls it Kuro , and decides to take it with him and look after it. When Mahiru comes home from school the next day, he is surprised that there is an unknown person in his apartment instead of his cat. Mahiru finds out that this person is Kuro and turns into a cat when exposed to sunlight. The black cat reveals that he is actually one of seven vampires , who represent the seven deadly sins , and who stands for laziness . He also confessed that he and Mahiru had made a temporary contract the moment he tied a bell around his neck and called his name when the vampire was in his human form. This contract was ultimately concluded when Kuro accidentally drank Mahiru's blood and thus became his servant, known as Servamp and Mahiru, his master, called Eve .

Shortly afterwards, the Mahiru and Kuro first met Tsubaki, who claims to be the vampire of melancholy and thus Kuros and the other six Servamps eighth brother. Mahiru decides to find the remaining vampires of the seven deadly sins to fight together against Tsubaki and his subjects.

Characters

main characters

Mahiru Shirota ( 城 田 真 昼 , Shirota Mahiru )
Speaker: Takuma Terashima
Mahiru Shirota is a first year high school student (10th grade). His mother died in an accident when he was little. He doesn't have a father, so he stayed with his busy uncle. Due to the fact that he was on his own most of the time, he has acquired many talents for housework on his own. In the meantime, these have even contributed positively to his school life, where he has already been able to use them several times for class work. After he took on Kuro and found out who he really is, by accident he became his master, called Eve . He received a weapon that resembles a broom and as a sign of an Eves (主人イ ヴ, German "master") serves. It is said that the weapons reflected the personalities of the respective Eves and that the Mahiru Kuro attacked with a broom.
Sleepy Ash (沈 黙 す る 終 焉ス リ ー ピ ー ア ッ シ ュ, Surīpī Asshu , German "silent death")
Speaker: Yūki Kaji
Sleepy Ash is the servamp, or vampire servant, of laziness . Mahiru called him Kuro ( ク ロ ) in his contract because of the color of the fur in its cat shape. He is the oldest of the seven vampire siblings and, according to the testimony of the vampire of greed, the strongest of them all. However, this is in contradiction to his rather sluggish personality, as he often looks tired, plays video games and eats junk food. He's also the only vampire who doesn't have a subclass . Kuro keeps his past a secret, just a vague mention is enough to anger the otherwise lazy Kuro. When Mahiru penetrates Sleepy Ash's memory, he learns why he doesn't talk about his past: He had an argument with his brother Greed when Kuro decided to kill the person responsible for his and his siblings' transformation into vampires after this one Request from organization C3 received. He eventually kills his master, which tormented him and ultimately leads him to question his action self-critically. Because of his remorse and grief, he did not decide to act first until someone orders him until Mahiru urged him to admit the mistake he had made. Kuro's weapon are razor-sharp claws.
Tsubaki ( 椿 )
Speaker: Tatsuhisa Suzuki
Tsubaki is the vampire of melancholy . The mysterious man introduced himself as the youngest and eighth of the Servamp siblings, although there are actually only seven. Tsubaki has a psychotic and unstable character, which is represented by his desire to kill all "who do not know him". Tsubaki was the master of a large army of subclass vampires until much of Greed was slaughtered in their attempt to kill Greed's masters during a concert. His animal form is the fox and his weapon a katana . Not much is known about his motives and past.
Misono Alicein ( 有 栖 院 御 園 , Arisuin Misono )
Speaker: Hiro Shimono
Misono Alicein is a high school student like Mahiru and in the same year. He's the Eve of Lust , called Lily. He comes from a very wealthy family, but has a very weak body, which means that he suffers from exhaustion very quickly. He has a degrading character, which is partly due to his lack of social contacts. He was conceived as a illegitimate child through an affair between his father and a housekeeper. This affair resulted in his father's wife killing Misono's birth mother with the help of the vampire of envy . After that, Misono raised her as her own son until she tried to kill him. As a result, she asked Mikuni, Misono's older half-brother, to kill her to save Misono's life. Since Misono knew nothing about this background for a long time, he hated his half-brother.
All of Love (全 て は 愛 に 収束 す るオ ー ル オ ブ ラ ブ, Ōru obu Rabu , dt. "Everything converges in love")
Speaker: Kazuma Horie
All of Love, or Snow Lily ( ス ノ ウ リ リ イ , Sunō Ririi ), is the vampire of lust and the servamp of Misono Alicein. He is the second youngest of the siblings, of the seven Servamps, and has a tendency to strip for no reason whatsoever . He and Envy have served the family for generations. After Mikuni killed his mother, he manipulated Misono's memories so that he was unable to recall the reason for Mikuni's banishment. When Misono noticed the manipulation, however, the bond between himself and All of Love was strained for some time, which Tsubaki's subclass could exploit to destroy his pocket watch, the source of Misono's power, which led to Misono's becoming even weaker. All of Love's weapon is a scythe with which he is able to cut the souls of his victims.
Light Jekylland Todoroki ( リ ヒ ト ・ ジ キ ル ラ ン ド ・ 轟 , Rihito Jikirurando Todoroki )
Speaker: Nobunaga Shimazaki
Licht is a world-famous pianist from Austria and the Eve of Greed . His character is quite bizarre. He describes himself as an angel and carries a white backpack with angel wings. He barely smiles and instead shows his surroundings a rather dark look. He also has aggressive traits, brutally attacks vampires and calls them demons . He also shows hatred for his own servamp, greed , which he mostly describes as a "rotting hedgehog". Light has two weapons: On the one hand, shoes with which he can manipulate the speed at which his victims are healed, and on the other hand, a piano with which he can play songs that can evoke the most varied of reactions from his listeners.
Lawless (唯一 無二ロ ウ レ ス, Rōresu , German "uniqueness")
Speaker: Ryōhei Kimura
Lawless, or Hyde ( ハ イ ド , Haido ), is the vampire of greed and the servamp of light. His name after the conclusion of the contract is Hyde , which together with the second name of Licht ( Jekylland ) alludes to The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is and is a symbolization of the antagonistic relationship between the two. He is the fourth youngest Servamp and shows very unstable traits. He shows no interest in human life and kills everyone who gets in his way. According to the Vampire of Pride , Lawless has the ability to kill his masters if they don't amuse him or if he loses interest in them. Light is an exception, as Lawless is amused by the fact that he calls himself an angel. His previous master was a princess named Ophelia. He fell in love with her. However, she married the prince of a neighboring area and was later executed after she refused to flee with him. His character got worse after an argument with Sleepy Ash, who decided to kill her creator.
Tetsu Sendagaya ( 千 駄 ヶ 谷 鉄 , Sendagaya Tetsu )
Speaker: Yūki Ono
Tetsu Sendagaya is a middle school student and works in his family's onsen in his spare time . Even though he is a junior high student, he is noticeably tall and muscular, so many consider him older. He also doesn't care that he is associated with vampires, as he carries his weapon - in his case a huge and indestructible coffin - around with him and occasionally uses it to advertise his family's onsen.
Old Child (古 き 良 き 時代 の 忘 れ 者オ ー ル ド チ ャ イ ル ド, Ōrudo Chairudo , German "Forgotten of the good old days")
Speaker: Ayumu Murase
Old Child is the vampire of pride and is bound to Tetsu Sendagaya by a pact. Even though he is physically the smallest of the seven vampires, Old Child, also known as Hugh ( ヒ ュ ー , Hyū ) by his pact, is the second oldest Servamp behind Sleepy Ash. His greatest trait is childlike pride . Of all seven Servamps, Old Child has the most subclass vampires , which for him form a kind of network; He mostly uses them to spy on Tsubaki or other people's private stories.
Mikuni Alicein ( 有 栖 院 御 国 , Arisuin Mikuni )
Speaker: Tetsuya Kakihara
Mikuni Alicein is the older half-brother of Misono and the Eve des Servamps of envy . He is an antique dealer and was expelled from the family after he murdered his birth mother. Misono hates him for this act. He killed his mother to protect Misono's life and has been carrying the vampire of envy with him ever since.
Doubt Doubt (疑 わ し き は 罰 せ よダ ウ ト ダ ウ ト, Dauto Dauto , dt. "If someone is suspicious, punish him!")
Speaker: Kenjirō Tsuda
Doubt Doubt is the servamp of envy and is bound to Mikuni Alicein by a pact. He is the third oldest of the Servamps and has a quiet character. He rarely speaks and when he does, he mumbles. Doubt Doubt was initially the servant of Mikuni's mother and served the Alicein family with All of Love for several generations. His power manipulated his master, which resulted in her killing Misono's mother and he destroying all evidence. Later she should try to kill Misono which was prevented by Mikuni. Mikuni killed his mother and took Doubt Doubt with him. His weapons are two fully automatic machine guns that he hides under his huge coat.
Sakuya Watanuki ( 綿 貫 桜 哉 , Watanuki Sakuya )
Speaker: Yūto Suzuki (Anime) / Toshinari Futamachi (radio play)
Sakuya is a classmate of Mahiru Shirota and a subclass of Tsubaki. As a child, he lived in a shared apartment with his older sister and parents. Her parents were very violent and abused their children. One evening, Sakuya saw his sister fall from the balcony, forced by her parents, to fake suicide to get the insured sum. A few years later, Sakuya met the same fate. But shortly before he died he was saved by Tsubaki. He and Mahiru met in middle school and became friends, which led to him manipulating Mahiru's memories to pretend a sandbox friendship. After Mahiru made a pact with Sleepy Ash, he removed the false childhood memories and attacked Mahiru in the hopes that he would kill him. Mahiru refused his request and instead promised to free him from Tsubaki's control.

Supporting characters

Belukia ( ベ ル キ ア , Berukia )
Speaker: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka

C3
The C3 is a secret organization that tries to abstain from the conflict between vampires and humans but at the same time wants to take action against Tsubaki.

additional
