Shadowchaser 3 is an American action and science fiction film from 1995. As with the two predecessors, it was directed by John Eyres . Contrary to the title, the production is not a direct continuation of Shadowchaser or Shadowchaser 2 , but tells its own story.

The spaceship Siberia disappeared 25 years ago on a mission during which, legend has it, it discovered a previously unknown metal that could solve all of mankind's energy problems. The crew of the Comstat 5 space station is completely surprised two days before the separation when the Siberia suddenly reappears and is on a collision course. At the last second they can evade, but the Siberia turns and crashes into the space station. Two of the members die.
The spaceship pushes the space station into the atmosphere of Mars . The crew does not have much time to prevent the intrusion. The crew goes on the alien spaceship. Another member of the crew dies during the rescue operation. Nevertheless, you can set the Siberia on a different course. However, the badly damaged Comstat 5 only has a few hours of oxygen left . There are only three left of the escape pods. In the meantime, the professor, Renko and Snake get on the spaceship. They are after the metal. The professor who pursues scientific purposes is the first to be killed. Meanwhile, Rea finds out that her father was in charge of the Siberia crew. An android has been infected with a virus that makes it go nuts. The android has the ability to transform into all dead members of the crew.
The cyborg kills all members of the crew until only the criminal Renko, his partner and dog lover Snake, Rea and Kody are left. They come up with the saving idea: the emergency lighting irritates the cyborg. Renko pretends to take care of the problem, but just wants to get the escape pods back into shape. Snake, Rea and Kody now have to face the android. Snake sacrifices himself for his friends and gives the android a powerful electric shock that apparently destroys him. Renko threatens the two remaining crew members until the torso of the completely destroyed android kills him. Rea and Kody can escape into the escape pod with their dog Max and float through space.

Despite the title, Shadowchaser 3 only connects its predecessors with the, here nameless, android played by Frank Zagarino . Also directed again by John Eyres. With Ricco Ross also is an actor of the first part to see again in a supporting role. However, the behavior and properties of the android and the space setting are different than the parts before.
Shadowchaser was released in German-speaking countries on DVD only in a box that includes all three parts. There is also an edited version of FSK-16 and an uncut version of FSK-18 from VPS to VHS , which was released on August 31, 1995.
