Shar Jackson

Sharisse "Shar" Jackson (born September 4, 1976 in Boston , Massachusetts ) is an American actress and rapper . She is known for her role in the sitcom Moesha and as the ex-girlfriend of dancer Kevin "K-Fed" Federline .

Life

Since the early 1990s, Jackson has cast minor roles in the television series Welcome to Life , Grand Avenue , South Central , Tall Hopes , Clueless and Really Great, Mr. Cooper . The role of Niecy Jackson in the series Moesha, among other things with Brandy, helped her success. After the show ended in 2001, she succeeded in the following years as a voice actress in Die Prouds , and the cinema production Family Reunion: The Movie . After that, the success took off and after 2003 Jackson did not manage to cast a role until the father of their children Kevin Federline left them in 2005 in a media-effective and controversial way for pop singer Britney Spears . She made her first television appearances since 2003 on the Bernie Mac Show in 2006 . By 2009 she played supporting roles in five other movies and had a guest appearance from 2008 in the comedy series Everyone Hates Chris .

In addition to her acting activities, Jackson is also active as a musician. Her girl group "Mpulz" was featured on the soundtrack of the film Suddenly Princess in 2001 . In 2007 she won first place on the MTV reality show Celebrity Rap Superstar , where she defeated model Kendra Wilkinson in the finals. Jackson then confirmed their first single "Let It Blow" on Total Request Live . Her debut album was supposed to be released in 2010 and developed in collaboration with MC Lyte . Currently (as of January 2011) is commercially available but not an album of her present, not even by her stage name Shar J .

For this she was seen in 2010 in the seventh season of the US version of the British weight loss reality TV show Celebrity Fit Club . Kevin Federline played on the opposing team.
