Kevin Earl Federline (born March 21, 1978 in Fresno , California ) is a retired American dancer , rapper and model . Through his marriage to the pop star Britney Spears from 2004 to 2007 he gained international fame.

Life

Kevin Federline's parents, Mike, an auto mechanic, and Juli, a cashier, divorced when Federline was eight. He moved to Carson City , Nevada with his mother and brother Chris . At the age of eleven, he and his brother Chris moved back to live with their father in Fresno. Kevin dropped out of high school in his ninth grade.

Federline worked as a background dancer for Christina Milian , NSYNC , Justin Timberlake , Pink , Michael Jackson , Destiny's Child , Lyte Funky Ones and Britney Spears , whom he met through this. Federline became known to the public through his marriage to Spears on September 18, 2004. He previously lived with Shar Jackson , with whom he has two children.
