education

In addition to state schools, Sherwood also has a few private schools. The Sylvan Hills High School (SHHS), founded in August 1956, is also located in the city. Sherwood is part of the Pulaski County Special School District, one of three school districts in Pulaski County . It is administered by the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), which is headquartered in Little Rock .
