Siegersdorf is a district of the municipality of Rattenberg in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen . Until 1972 it formed an independent municipality.

location

The village of Siegersdorf is located in the Bavarian Forest about two kilometers southeast of the center of Rattenberg.

history

The name of the place is derived from the personal name Sigo or Sigin. 1465 is spoken of Siginstorff , Philipp Apian writes Sigestorf . Siegersdorf formed a chairman in the Rattenberg office of the Mitterfels Care Court . In 1752 the village consisted of nine properties.

With the final completion of the municipality formations in 1821, the Siegersdorf municipality in the Mitterfels district court was formed from the Siegersdorf tax district . It consisted of three villages, two hamlets, 20 wastelands and 83 families. Later it belonged to the district office and district of Bogen .

At the 1961 census, the community of Siegersdorf had 599 inhabitants and consisted of the villages Kriseszell , Siegersdorf, Steinachern and Wassesbühl , the hamlets of Bühlhof , Buglmühl , Gneißen , Hinterfelling , Maierhof , Oberbocksberg , Vornwald , Weidenschaft , Zierling and Ziernberg and the deserted Almhofen , Aufeld , Hader house , Hochwies , Ödhof , Ödlend , Rauber Thal , Redlmühl , Riedel forest , Schutzering , Unterumwangen , Vorderfelling , Weidenhof and cell Wies . The former districts there were Kleinzierling and Kreuzhaus .

On January 1, 1972, the municipality of Siegersdorf was incorporated into the municipality of Rattenberg as part of the regional reform . In 1987 Siegersdorf had 95 inhabitants.
