Siegfried Huebner

Siegfried Hübner (born January 9, 1923 in Oelsnitz ; † December 24, 2017 in Rathmannsdorf ) was a German Roman Catholic clergyman and dogmatist .

Life

Hübner studied theology in Paderborn and Innsbruck . He entered the Oratory of St. Philip Neri and received on April 27, 1952 in Leipzig , the sacrament of Holy Orders . After his years as chaplain, Hübner became a student pastor in Erfurt and Weimar in 1965 and later a pastor in Pirna . He did his doctorate under Karl Rahner , who shaped him very much. From 1976 until his retirement in 1988, Hübner taught as a lecturer in dogmatics and ecumenical theology at the Philosophical-Theological Studies in Erfurt (today the Catholic-Theological Faculty of the University of Erfurt ).
