Sigismund von Dziembowski-Pomian

Sigismund Florian von Dziembowski-Pomian (born October 5, 1858 in Goranin , Gnesen district ; † July 20, 1918 in Posen ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Dziembowski attended the Mariengymnasium in Poznan and studied at the Silesian Friedrich Wilhelms University in Breslau . He received his doctorate in 1880 in Goettingen to the Dr. iur. As a lawyer at the Higher Regional Court in Poznan , he led the defense in many Polish trials, such as the Wreschen school trial .

From 1903 to 1908 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1889 city councilor in Poznan. After he was elected in a replacement election in 1889 for the constituency administrative district Posen 8 ( Wreschen , Pleschen ), he represented this constituency in the Reichstag until 1903. From 1907 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Bromberg 4 (Gnesen - Wongrowitz) and the Polish parliamentary group .
