Simmerbølle Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Langeland in the Great Belt in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Langelands Nørre Herred in what was then Svendborg Amt , then to Rudkøbing Municipality in Fyns Amt , which was merged into Langeland Municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

722 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church “Simmerbølle Kirke” is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are in the northeast Tullebølle Sogn , in the southeast Longelse Sogn , in the south Skrøbelev Sogn and in the southwest Rudkøbing Sogn .
