Longelse Kirke

Longelse Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Langeland in the Great Belt in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Langelands Sønder Herred in what was then Svendborg Amt , then to Rudkøbing Municipality in Fyns Amt , which was merged into Langeland Municipality in the Syddanmark region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

575 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church “Longelse Kirke” is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are Tullebølle Sogn in the north, Simmerbølle Sogn in the north-west, Skrøbelev Sogn in the west and Fuglsbølle Sogn in the south-west .
