Simon & Jan is a songwriter duo founded in 2006 , consisting of Simon Eickhoff (* 1980) and Jan Traphan (* 1981).

Career

Eickhoff and Traphan met in 2001 at the beginning of their music teacher training course in Oldenburg . They combine gentle, melodic compositions played on two acoustic guitars with often ironic lyrics.

Simon & Jan became better known as support for Götz Widmann and Monsters of Liedermaching . In 2013 they released their first full-length program The Last Schrei on CD. They had appearances, for example, in Nightwash , in the Quatsch Comedy Live Club and in the institution . At the end of 2013 they started their second program Ach Mensch . The premiere of their third program Hallelujah! took place on October 23, 2016 in the Comedia in Cologne.

In 2018 they released an album with the string quartet "Vielharmoniker", with which they also appeared on the anniversary broadcast of Pufpaff's Happy Hour .
