Simon Boch (born April 18, 1994 in Donaueschingen ) is a German athlete .

Career

Boch won the German championship title in the 10,000 meter run in Bautzen on May 13, 2017 in a personal best of 29: 13.60 min. Boch also took second place in the German championships over 5000 meters and in the 10 km road race . With the team of LG Telis Finanz Regensburg , he won three more medals at German level in 2017. In the team classification in cross-country  running (middle distance) and in the 10-km road race, he took first place in each case, and second in the half marathon .

At the German Cross-Country Championships on March 7, 2020 in Sindelfingen , Boch was the outstanding runner: First, he won the title over the middle distance with a distance of 4.4 km. Four hours later, he ventured out onto the muddy track again and took the runner-up title in the long distance (9.9 km). In addition, he and his teammates won the gold medal in the team classification on both routes.
