Sina Hinteregger (born November 10, 1996 in Judenburg ) is an Austrian triathlete . She is U23 world champion winter triathlon (2016) and U23 European champion cross triathlon (2016).

Career

In her youth, Sina Hinteregger was active in judo and she won several Styrian and several Austrian medals. She trained as an aircraft technician.

Vice European Champion Junior Cross Triathlon 2013

In September 2013, the 16-year-old finished second in the Junior European Championship in cross triathlon (0.5 km swimming, 11 km mountain bike and 3 km cross-country run) at Lake Wolfgang .

In February 2014 she became Junior State Champion in the winter triathlon in St. Anna. At the ITU World Championship Cross Triathlon, she was third in the juniors in August.

U23 world champion winter triathlon 2016

In February 2016 she won the gold medal at the Winter Triathlon World Championships in the U23 class in Zeltweg.
In June, the 19-year-old became the U23 European cross triathlon champion in Switzerland.

U23 national champion winter triathlon 2017

In March 2017 she became the U23 state champion winter triathlon in Villach.

Sina Hinteregger lives in Zeltweg . She is trained by Othmar Moser and Heinz Planitzer .
