Sincik is a city and a district in the Turkish province of Adıyaman in southeastern Anatolia . The city of Sincik is home to about a quarter of the district's population and is divided into seven mahalls .

The district Sincik is located in the northeast of the province, bordering the province of Malatya . In addition to the district town, the small town ( Belediye ) İnlice (2,372 inhabitants) and 24 villages ( Köy ) with an average of 448 inhabitants belong to the district. Çamdere (1,847 inhabitants) is the only village with more than 1,000 inhabitants.
