Tut is a city and a district in the Turkish province of Adıyaman in southeastern Anatolia . The city of Tut is 59 kilometers east of Adıyaman and is home to about 35 percent of the county’s population.

The district of Tut is located in the northeast of the province, borders the province of Malatya and has been an independent district since 1990. Besides Tut as the only town, the district consists of 14 villages ( Köy ) with an average of 475 inhabitants. Kaşlıca (1,314 inhabitants) is the only village with more than 1,000 inhabitants.
