Sirona way
The Sirona-Weg is a 106 km long adventure route on the traces of the Celtic-Roman cultural heritage of the Nahe region and the Hunsrück . On the hiking trail, 26 stations - cultural monuments, information boards and models - provide information about the Celtic and Roman life of the region between the 6th century BC. BC and the 5th century AD. The route begins at the Altburg near Bundenbach and ends at the Altburg near Hoppstädten-Weiersbach . The Gallo-Roman goddess of healing Sirona is the eponym of the path and accompanies the visitors as a symbol on the hiking route. The main attractions of the route are barrows , hilltop castles , a reconstructed Celtic village and museums.
