The Skrajna Pańszczycka Czuba is a mountain in the Polish High Tatras with 2135 meters in the Grań Żółtej Turni massif . On the summit, the border runs between the municipalities of Zakopane in the south and Poronin , specifically the district of Murzasichle in the north, in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in the Powiat Tatrzański district .
Location and surroundings
Below the summit are the Dolina Pańszczyca in the north and Dolina Czarna Gąsienicowa in the south.
Skrajna Pańszczycka Czuba is separated from Wierch pod Fajki in the west by the Pańszczycka Przełęcz mountain pass and from the Zadnia Pańszczycka Czuba in the east by the Pańszczycka Przełączka Pośrednia mountain pass .
etymology
The Polish name Skrajna Pańszczycka Czuba can be translated as Outer Pańszczyca Koppe . The name comes from the nearby Dolina Pańszczyca valley.
Flora and fauna
Despite its height, Skrajna Pańszczycka Czuba has a colorful flora and fauna. Numerous plant species occur, especially high alpine flowers and grasses. In addition to insects and mollusks and birds of prey, bears, marmots and chamois also visit the summit.
tourism
The Skrajna Pańszczycka Czuba is popular with climbers. However, there is no hiking trail leading to the summit. The Schronisko PTTK Murowaniec mountain hut is a suitable starting point for an ascent from the valleys .
