Bitburg Sculpture Cycle Path

The Bitburg Sculpture Cycle Path , from Bitburg in the southern Eifel to Steinheim in Luxembourg, is part of the Rhineland-Palatinate sculpture path .

Project description

The promotion of art projects in public space by the State of Rhineland-Palatinate led to the creation of the sculpture cycle path in 2003 with an international sculpture symposium . It runs from Bitburg to Irrel on the Nimstal cycle path , then on the Prümtal cycle path to Steinheim. Local sandstone was used for all eight sculptures .
