Reviews

David Nusair wrote in Reel Film Reviews that the film was mediocre and should achieve a modest grossing before it is forgotten. There are neither convincing characters nor a coherent plot; the first half hour consists of unrelated scenes. Nusair praised the “energetic” performance by Jason Schwartzman ( “Schwartzman (...) seems to be having a great time and his kinetic energy is fun to watch” ).

Film-Dienst wrote that the film was "a recent teenage comedy with the same pattern over and over again, providing for meaningless entertainment with stale gags and absurd jokes" .

backgrounds

The film was in Los Angeles , in Riverside ( California ) and Redlands turned (California). Its production amounted to an estimated 11 million US dollars . The film opened in US cinemas on February 1, 2002, grossing around $ 4.8 million.
