The Smith River is about 25 miles long in New Hampshire , United States . It is a right tributary of the Pemigewasset River .
course
The source of the river is in Grafton County about 6 km north of Grafton at 487 m altitude. The creek first runs through two small lakes to the south and then to the north-west of Grafton to the east. Here, the oriented US Route 4 to the place Danbury along the river course. From there, New Hampshire Route 104 follows the river. After approximately 40 km, the Smith River finally flows into the Pemigewasset River on the border of Counties Grafton and Merrimack and the parishes of Bristol and Hill .
