WG Snuffy Walden

William Garrett Walden (also known as Snuffy Walden or WG Snuffy Walden ; born February 13, 1950 in Louisiana ) is an American composer and musician .

Walden was best known for his compositions for popular television series such as Ellen , Alone Against the Future , Roseanne , Welcome to Life , Sports Night and The Best Years, as well as for Stephen King's The Stand .

In 2000, Warden received an Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Main Title Theme Music on the television series The West Wing . More than ten times he won a price at the BMI Film & TV Awards , so u. a. 1994 , 1995 and 1997 .

As a musician, he has performed with Chaka Khan , Eric Burdon and Donna Summer, among others . He played two albums as a guitarist with the blues rock band Stray Dog ( Stray Dog , 1973, and While You're Down There , 1974).
