Sohl is a district of Bad Laasphe in the Westphalian district of Siegen-Wittgenstein. The place consists of eight houses with 35 residents. It is located directly on the border with Hesse in the southwestern city area.

history

The Sohl peasantry was founded in 1711 by three farmers. Administratively, the place belonged to Fischelbach until the end of 1974 , and from 1907 to 1974 to Ewersbach . Therefore, the telephone code for Dietzhölztal (02774) still has to be dialed today.

Sohl is connected to the public road network via Kreisstraße 36 . This leads to Landesstraße 718 in Fischelbach .

Wind turbines

A wind farm with seven wind turbines is currently being built in the area around the village (as of September 2014).
