Bermershausen is a district of the city of Bad Laasphe in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The village, first mentioned in a document in 1465 , has about 200 inhabitants and an area of 2.97 km².
geography
Bermershausen is located in the Lahn valley , embedded between Kratzenberg (571 m above sea level ) in the north and Gottelsberg (570 m above sea level) in the south. The village is located relatively centrally in the Bad Laasphes urban area, around 6 kilometers as the crow flies northwest of the city center .
history
Bermershausen was an independent municipality until the Sauerland / Paderborn Act was implemented on January 1, 1975.

Bermershausen is conveniently located on the L 719 state road , which leads from Bad Laasphe to Siegen . There are buses of the Verkehrsgemeinschaft Westfalen-Süd . The Obere Lahntalbahn runs right past the village, the next train station is about 2 kilometers away in Feudingen .
Attractions
The landmark of the village is the Scharfenstein standing at about 500 meters above sea level, from which one has a wonderful view up to Wittgenstein Castle . The approximately eight meter high rock was mentioned as early as the 15th century.
