The 1973 season was the second season of the Summer Cup in Swiss field handball .

mode

The 26 teams were divided into four groups. In these groups, they played in the " everyone against everyone " mode, each with one game to qualify for the final round.

The four group winners and runners-up qualified for the semi-finals.

There were two semi-finals each with quarter and semi-finals.

The winners of the two semi-finals played a final against each other.
