Sonja vom Brocke

Sonja vom Brocke (* 1980 in Hagen ) is a German poet .

Life

Sonja vom Brocke studied philosophy , German and English in Cologne , Hamburg and Paris and completed her studies with a thesis in philosophy of language. Today she lives in Berlin . Her poems have been published in the magazines Language in the Technical Age , Edit , Loud Nobody , Lichtungen , Meise and Randnummer , among others . She also worked with visual artists, for example with Christina Kramer on the exhibition "thoughts fall / ins Fell". Her volume of poetry "Venice singt" was included in the list of poetry recommendations 2015, which was compiled by the German Academy for Language and Poetry together with other institutions.
