Soszyca [ sɔˈʂɨt͡sa ] ( Kashubian Soszëca , German Neukrug ) is a settlement in Gmina Parchowo in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship . It is located eight kilometers northwest of Parchowo (Parchau) , fifteen kilometers north of Bytów (Bütow) and seventy kilometers west of Gdansk .
Neukrug station was on the Lauenburg – Bütow railway line .
Until 1945, the Neukrug forest workers' colony formed a place to live in the rural community of Lupowske and belonged to the district of Bütow in the Prussian province of Pomerania .
