The Souche is a river in France that runs in the Aisne department in the Hauts-de-France region . It rises just east of the center of Sissonne , at the local military camp, and generally drains in a north-westerly direction. In its upper reaches, it passes a large number of marshland and after 32 kilometers flows into the Serre as a left tributary at Crécy-sur- Serre .
