The Holsterhausen Municipal Comprehensive School was founded in 1997. Right from the start, the focus of the school was based on the principles of Agenda 21 .

AGENDA school

The Holsterhausen Municipal Comprehensive School understands school as a space for living and experiencing in the community of responsibility of the pupils, their parents, the teachers and the partners of the school. The school feels particularly committed to the challenges of Agenda 21 .

Principles of learning, teaching and living together

Since the school was founded, there has been "joint teaching" at Holsterhausen Comprehensive School. This integrates students with special needs. There is one integration class per year . A culture of praise and recognition is anchored in the school concept. The places and times of public praise at the Holsterhausen Municipal Comprehensive School are the monthly gatherings of the grades, the day on which certificates are issued and the so-called “Responsibility Festival”.
