description

The church was given its current structural design in 1703, as the structural expansion is attested for this year. They created a simple, rectangular hall church that combines the choir and the nave . A porch serves as the entrance. Two steel bells from 1922 hang in the hexagonal, slated roof tower . The bronze bell from 1740 was melted down during the First World War . The tower has a dome topped with a lantern . The interior is covered by a wooden beam ceiling with inserted latch boards in a herringbone pattern . Still in 1843 should cover and galleries without paint have been. The pulpit altar presumably dates from the second half of the 18th century. It only shows a representation of the Lord's Supper .

The organ was built in 1812 by Georg Christoph Hofmann, who belonged to a family of organ builders who worked from Neustadt bei Coburg for several generations from 1777 to 1867 and created over 60 organs in Upper Franconia and southern Thuringia. It has 8 registers , divided into a manual and a pedal .
