St. Johannes (Lipprechteode)
The Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Johannes is located in Lipprechterode , a municipality in the Nordhausen district in Thuringia . The parish in Lipprechterode belongs to the parish Bleicherode in Kirchenkreis Südharz the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

A chapel without a church tower was first mentioned in 1119. Today's hall church made of quarry stones was built in 1617 and 1718. A retracted, just closed choir adjoins the nave . Both the nave and the choir are covered with a half-hip roof. The portal is in the gable in the west . There are two sound arcades above it . The bell was cast by Paul Mos in 1507. The church was extensively redesigned in the 1980s. The church furnishings were almost completely renewed. The organ with eight registers , divided into a manual and a pedal , was built by Orgelbau Schönefeld in 1980 .
