description

The main part of the Romanesque hall church has a retracted apse with an apse dome . The steeply proportioned nave was raised during a renovation before 1729 and provided with new arched windows and doors. A square roof tower rises on the slate-covered hip roof , the eight-sided helmet of which is crowned with a tower ball .

The galleries in the south and west of the nave and the church stalls were mostly renewed in 1729. On the balustrades of the galleries, the stalls and on the coffered ceiling , fruit bunches, tendrils and bands are painted. Many seats are labeled with names or monograms . The front facing of the chairs on the south side consists of painted boards that come from an older flat ceiling decorated with Bible scenes . The relatively small carved altarpiece was donated in 1723. It has a multi-part substructure with decorative vases on small pedestals . In addition, it has four cartridges arranged one above the other, around which plastic tendrils and ribbons play. The center painting depicts the Adoration of the Shepherds and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ . On the north side of the choir arch , the pulpit stands on a polygonal column base . It is decorated with carvings. Its parapet is painted with Christ Salvator , Moses and the four evangelists . The kneeling baptismal angel is a folk carving from the 18th century. The positive with five registers was built around 1880 by an unknown organ builder .
