The two-bay hall church was built as a stone church in the middle of the 12th century . It originally had a flat ceiling and, at the end of the 13th century, was given a vault with semicircular shield arches and a pressed, pointed partition arch , whereby the walls were raised with brick . In 1835 the lower part of a tower was built, which was completed in 1886. In 1920 a transept and a choir were added, and the tower was renewed in 1965.
