St. Michaelis

The Evangelical Lutheran , listed village church of St. Michaelis is in Pützlingen , a district of the Werther community in the Nordhausen district in Thuringia . The parish Pützlingen belongs to the parish area Trebra in Kirchenkreis Südharz the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The quarry stone hall church was built in 1716, the year is shown in an inscription above the portal . It has a recessed church tower in the west and a polygonal choir . The square tower is older, but not the pointed, octagonal helmet . The nave has three-sided galleries and is covered with a wooden barrel vault.

The church furnishings include a pulpit altar and a baptismal angel . The organ with 16 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , was built in 1823 by F. Toeppe.
