The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Nikolaus is the village church of Bühler, a district of Eußenheim in the Lower Franconian district of Main-Spessart . It belongs to the architectural monuments of Eußenheim and is registered together with the canopy altar at the church under the number D-6-77-127-75 in the Bavarian list of monuments. The Bühler parish is part of the Bachgrund parish community.

history

The basement of the church tower is Gothic and dates back to the 15th century. In the years from 1611 to 1614, the church tower was raised as the Julius Echter tower and the nave was rebuilt.

description

The church tower stands as a choir tower in the east. The choir in its basement has a vault . The nave, on the other hand, has a flat roof. At the high altar is Immaculata seen in the glory. To the right of the choir arch is a memorial to the fallen soldiers of World War II with a figure of St. Sebastian , to the left of which is a crucifix . The sandstone pulpit from 1594 bears the coat of arms of Prince-Bishop Julius Echter von Mespelbrunn . The organ , which was renewed in 1887, is on the western gallery .
