The St. Cäcilien-Stift retained the rights to the parish church until it was dissolved in 1802.

In the course of restructuring during the French era , the Beggendorf parish was dissolved in 1808 and the Loverich parish was added. Thus Beggendorf was only a branch municipality. Already in 1804 the place came to the newly founded diocese of Aachen . Only after the diocese of Aachen was dissolved again and Beggendorf came back to the archbishopric of Cologne, the parish was re-established on July 26th, 1834.
