description

The hall church consists of components of different ages. The choir tower was built in the late 12th century. It is covered with a slate-roofed , high, transverse hipped roof with four tower clocks , from which a roof turret rises. There are biforias on the north and south sides of the choir tower . The storey above with the bell cage has pointed arcades that were not used until the 19th century. Three church bells hang in the belfry .

The elongated late Gothic choir , closed on three sides, has two large ogival tracery windows . The simple nave from 1720 has rectangular windows. It has three-sided, two-storey galleries from the time it was built and is spanned with a wooden barrel vault. A winged altar stands in front of the pulpit altar from 1720 . In the shrine , Jesus Christ is enthroned under a canopy , flanked by the 14 helpers in need . On the outside of the wings there are paintings with the flagellation of Christ and Christ's crowning of thorns . The predella is modern, the burst was lost.

The church furnishings include a kneeling, carved baptismal angel from around 1720. The eight-sided baptismal font in the shape of a chalice is from 1751. The organ with 26 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , was built in 1876 by Julius Strobel .
